Methodology

Evidence for the public storefront your customers use.

TrackTriage is a browser-visible tracking monitor for Shopify storefronts. It is designed to point your team to a change worth investigating, not to make claims about data that a public browser cannot see.

What we visit

For the journeys you enable, TrackTriage opens a fresh isolated browser and checks your public homepage, a public product page, cart, and an optional campaign landing page. It never signs in, submits personal data, or enters checkout.

A real storefront interaction

Where a standard product form supports it, each audit and public monitoring check makes one anonymous add-to-cart attempt. This is a real interaction with the storefront and can fire its pixels. Only enable TrackTriage for stores you are authorised to assess.

What we observe

We record supported tracking signals visible in the browser during those visits, including common Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Shopify and Google Ads signals. Your monitor only opens incidents for the signals and journeys you have enabled.

Why an incident needs confirmation

When a supported signal unexpectedly disappears, TrackTriage makes a separate confirmation check. A critical incident is opened only when the same supported change appears again. The report preserves the before and confirmed public evidence for your developer or agency.

What TrackTriage does not establish

It cannot verify consent choices, checkout behaviour, server-side events, customer data, or whether an ad platform accepted or attributed an event. Treat the report as a focused QA handoff and confirm important changes within your own analytics and advertising tools.
