Independent Shopify tracking QA

Know when your storefront tracking changes.

TrackTriage checks the public pages your customers use. If a supported tracking signal disappears, we check again before alerting you, then show you the evidence.

Public storefront audit

Check the tracking your customers can see.

We visit the public homepage, a product page and cart in a real browser. Where possible, we make one anonymous add-to-cart attempt—never a purchase.

Public storefronts only. We do not inspect checkout, customer data, or private apps.

What we check

Public pages, product pages, carts and supported tracking requests.

What needs another test

Consent choices, checkout, server-side events and ad-platform delivery.

How Monitor earns the alert

A missing signal is a question. Two checks make it evidence.

  1. Check the public journey

We revisit the homepage, product page and cart that shoppers can reach.

  2. Confirm an unexpected change

A single odd result stays a check. The same supported change must appear again before it becomes an incident.

  3. Give you a usable handoff

The alert links to the before and confirmed public evidence, ready for your developer or agency to investigate.

TrackTriage Monitor

Public tracking QA for one Shopify store.

For $19/month, Monitor watches the public customer journey 4 times a day and only emails when it has confirmed a change worth your attention.

Evidence you can act on

See the public change before someone starts guessing.

Tracking faults often surface after a theme release, app change, consent update, or campaign launch. TrackTriage gives your team a consistent external check of the storefront rather than relying on memory or a screenshot taken after the problem appeared.

The monitor records supported browser-visible requests on the pages and interactions it can reach. When a selected signal disappears, it repeats the journey in a fresh check. The resulting incident links the earlier baseline to the confirmed result, so a developer or agency can start with a specific page, signal, and time.

This evidence does not replace validation inside Shopify, your tag manager, analytics account, or advertising platform. It narrows the investigation and helps your specialist decide which private system to inspect next.

Straight answers

What you get — and what we will not pretend to know.

What does TrackTriage check?

It visits public Shopify storefront pages in an isolated browser and records supported tracking signals that the browser can observe.

Why not alert on the first failed check?

Storefronts can be noisy. We make a fresh confirmation check so a critical alert has stronger evidence and creates less unnecessary work.

What happens when the signal returns?

TrackTriage marks the incident resolved and sends one recovery email, so you know the public signal is visible again.

Do I need Shopify admin access?

No. TrackTriage starts with public storefront URLs and does not ask for Shopify admin, tag-manager, advertising-account, or customer-data access.

Does a check interact with the store?

Yes. Where a standard product form supports it, a check can make one real anonymous add-to-cart attempt that can fire pixels. It never enters checkout or places an order.

Who is TrackTriage designed for?

It is designed for Shopify store owners, ecommerce teams, and agencies that need an independent warning when supported public tracking changes. You do not need to be a tracking specialist to read an incident: the evidence is organised so you can send a focused handoff to the developer, agency, or analytics specialist responsible for investigating it.
